Which tense is correct?

0

I'm trying to summarize about the usage of Future Continuous but found myself stuck on the tense. Which one is correct? Thanks in advance for your help.

I think my confusion stems from using "If"; is it a conditional or a future marker? Or something else altogether?

  1. If something happens during an event or a period of time in the future and interrupts it, it's future continuous.

  2. If something happened during an event or a period of time in the future and got interrupted, it would be considered future continuous.
